What is directprint.io
RED?

directprint.io RED is a new scalable, single-service offering built on a predictable pricing model that’s available as a white-label product exclusively through the channel.

We’ve taken all of the rich feature-set that our direct SaaS solution offers and added Sharp OSA for authentication and pull-printing. We’ve also added advanced printer monitoring capabilities, to help partners drive revenue and profit as they help customers leverage all of the benefits of migrating print to the cloud.

Why choose directprint.io red?

directprint.io RED delivers additional cost savings and operational efficiencies for your customers, as well as a new source of recurring revenues for you.

One platform two solutions

directprint.io RED supports print management and print monitoring in a single tool.

White-label

With our white-label service option, you can package a complete managed print solution that keeps your brand front and center.

Incremental and recurring revenue

Per-device pricing secures recurring revenue streams for new hardware sales, plus, there’s an additional revenue opportunity when you add customers’ legacy print devices to the platform.

In collaboration with Sharp, directprint.io has received full validation as a Sharp Compatible software product.

directprint.io supports over 500 Sharp models with standard print and advanced finishing options. directprint.io RED adds authentication and pull-print via an OSA MFP-embedded touchscreen app.

directprint.io RED enables resellers to quickly and efficiently deploy Sharp MFPs to secure, control, and track printing across Windows, Chromebooks, and macOS environments.

The directprint.io RED cloud-based admin console and universal print driver provide a seamless interface between Sharp’s printing devices and the cloud-based print management platform, enabling Sharp-native features such as secure print; advanced finishing options (stapling, hole punching, booklet creation, etc.); and accounting codes, to be seamlessly enabled and deployed.

About directprint.io

directprint.io is an agile, innovative, disruptive ISV in the cloud print management space.

Our serverless print management solution is built around a universal print driver and was originally designed to make enterprise-grade Chromebook printing a reality.

directprint.io achieved Google Technology and Chrome Enterprise Recommended Partner status within 18 months of launching. Through strong growth in North America, directprint.io has achieved a large footprint in the K-12 education sector and significant success in the SMB and retail markets.

Our cloud-native approach provided a strong basis for expanding our services to bring feature parity to the Microsoft ecosystem. We cover all three major operating systems – Windows, Chromebooks and macOS, and we support the two leading cloud productivity suite providers – Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

Cloudification of print

The cloudification of print is an integral part of organizations’ digital workspace strategies. An overwhelming majority (93.1%), of respondents to the Digital Workspace Ecosystem Alliance (DWEA) 2023 ‘State of the Digital Workspace’ survey said that their cloud strategy involved cloud printing.

directprint.io RED can help dealers and MPS providers to stand out from the crowd as now, more than ever, channel vendors need to differentiate, across bundled offerings, features and price.

Next-generation MPS engagements are no longer hardware-centric, they need to support customers’ needs around mobility, security, cloud and digitization.
